Here in the People’s Republic of Washington, tank car vodka is about 1/4 the price of decent Tequila, and way, way cheaper than good Tequila. So we adapted the Margarita Recipe.
Assemble the ingredients.
To a metal shaker, add:
Two heaping teaspoons sugar,
One heaping teaspoon tamarind paste, and some industrial tank-car vodka.
Then add the juice of two Key Limes (Limons, en Espanol).
Then fill the shaker with crushed ice, and add some water.
Install the shaker lid and shake until your hands freeze to the metal shaker, except stop just before then.
Once your hands warm up, shake it some more.
Pour the first glass half full, then fill the second glass, then fill the first glass.
Sprinkle tajin Clasico Chile/Limon/Salt on top. Cover the surface.
